Sara heads the Research Team at the Ecommerce Foundation, whose mission it is to foster global digital trade in the hopes of a more peaceful world. Sara’s daily work is in helping small- to medium-sized retailers sell cross-border online, specifically through the creation of ecommerce country and overview reports, hosting webinars, conducting custom research and creating content for multiple stakeholders in the ecommerce world
In addition to daily life, Sara presents on ecommerce-related topics and research around the world, advises stakeholders in furthering ecommerce domestically and internationally, and advocates for a more uniform methodology of data collection in the ecommerce sector.
Elodie has been working in marketing for 8 years as a product manager after graduating with a Master’s degree, specialized in Marketing. Her experience as product manager gave her the opportunity to quickly catch on to the evolving ecommerce market, helping her understand the challenges for retailers as well as what suits consumers.
Elodie’s first achievement in cross-border ecommerce within Asendia France was the 2015 launch of the solution ‘Delivengo’, which enabled French online retailers exporting goods up to 2 kg. As a member of Asendia Management, Elodie launched ‘Returns Solutions’. She is now concentrated on facilitating business into France, as well as into other key potential markets with added value services, such as prepaid customs solutions to increase consumer satisfaction with delivery.
